Even when you’re on vacation, you too can become a part of this process through quick and easy everyday actions!
Waste: Selective sorting for better recycling
In recent years, the campsite has installed containers at the exit. Please adopt a simple gesture and do the right sorting: grey for household waste,
green for glass and yellow for paper, newspapers, plastic and packaging.
Choose food and household products without packaging and don’t leave waste on the floor.
Don’t get rid of your bulbs.
Please do not throw the bulbs in the garbage can. Only filament bulbs and halogens can be disposed of with household waste.
Recycling used light bulbs is part of a sustainable development approach… donate them on receipt!
We collect used batteries:
Don’t throw your batteries in the garbage can – we have special bins at reception, at the mini-market and in the restaurant.
Pay attention to your consumption
Energy consumption :
Remember to close doors and windows if you use air conditioning in your accommodation. Please turn off the lights, TV and air conditioning when you are not in your accommodation. Our new lodgings are equipped with energy cut-outs thanks to the wall key system.
Water is life:
So avoid wasting it, and reduce your consumption.
Choose quicker, daily showers, and remember to flush the toilet when you need to pee. The campsite has installed water flow reducers in all communal sanitary facilities and accommodation.
Manage your travel :
In addition to saving time and money, using public transport and/or bicycles (0 g/km CO2) is a very environmentally friendly way to travel. To get to the Doussard market, the Doussard beach, Faverges or La Sambuy, free shuttles depart from the campsite reception area. If you’d like to go to Annecy, think about renting a bike on site or buying a boat ticket at reception.
Eco-labelled and ecological products:
Our service provider, les p’tit bout laveur, uses eco-labelled products for household linen. For our part, we use certified ecological products, with less packaging and eco-responsible…. Always with a simple, greener approach.
We try to be very careful about waste…. Help us preserve nature!
