Located at the foot of Mont Veyrier, on the eastern shore of Lake Annecy, Veyrier-du-Lac is a commune of 2,300 inhabitants in the canton of Annecy-le-Vieux. It boasts a listed 16th-century château (Château de Fésigny) and a 19th-century church (Église Saint-Maurice). If you take a walk on the heights, on the crests of Mont Veyrier and Mont Baron, you’ll see several viewpoints. During the high season, after your walk, you’ll enjoy lying back for a few moments on the Brune beach. This beautiful blue-flag grassy beach is supervised in July and August.
