What to do at Angon beach

An ideal beach for an afternoon swim or a full day of relaxation on Lake Annecy, Angon offers a wide range of leisure activities: the site is equipped with a beach volleyball court, boules pitch and ping-pong tables. A bar and restaurant service is available on site for a bite to eat overlooking the mountain lake. Volleyballs and table tennis rackets are also available on loan. Services include swimming lessons, beach towel sales and deckchair hire. Picnic tables are also available for your lunch break, afternoon snack or romantic evening meal. On the lake, you can enjoy a variety of water sports.

Practical info and rates

The beach is supervised from mid-June to the end of August, from 10:00 am to 6:45 pm. During this period and at these times, access is subject to a charge. Adult tickets cost 2.20 euros, reduced to 1.20 euros after 5.30pm. Children’s tickets (4 to 15 years) cost 1.20 euros, reduced to 70 cts from 5.30pm. Beach access is free for children under 4. Booklets of 10 tickets are available, priced at 17 euros for adults and 9 euros for children. A season pass is also available, priced at 45 euros for adults and 28 euros for children. Outside these times, the beach is not supervised, but access is free. Nearby, around the lake, you can visit the nature reserve at the end of the lake and its large pontoon, go paragliding from the Col de la Forclaz or take a walk at the Roc de Chère during your stay in Haute Savoie in the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region.
